How does Grok Imagine Image work?

Use the AI Image Generator to create a new image from a prompt or edit a reference photo. Choose a model and a priced output size, then review the result before downloading.

Can I use my own images or videos?

Yes. Use the reference upload button, drop files into the composer, or paste an image. Uploaded references appear as thumbnails so you can preview and remove them before continuing.

Will my references follow me to Create?

Yes. When you choose Generate from Home, AI Image, or AI Video, your prompt, references, and selected settings move together to the Create page.

Where can I find my creations?

Open Assets from the sidebar to return to your saved creations. The current workspace keeps its creation archive in this browser, so use the same browser when returning to it.

How do I choose image size and quantity?

For images, choose a model, aspect ratio, resolution, and image count. For video, choose a model, reference workflow, aspect ratio, resolution, and duration. You can switch between AI Image and AI Video in the composer.

How do credits and plans work?

The composer shows an estimated credit cost for your selected settings. Compare the available credit allowances and billing periods in the plans section, then open the pricing page to review payment options.
